First of all, I present you with my apple pie. No, it doesn't look as good as a store bought one, but it's the taste that counts, right?
And here are a few pictures of the visit with my family.... first, son, Carsten, and daughter, Regina, with the newest family addition, my son's daughter Priyasha.
And Priyasha with the two grandma's.....
The other kids were running around and playing so much that I didn't catch any nice pictures! LOL
I went on a business trip today, taking advantage of the great weather we're having. Now I'm waiting for Regina to pick me up and together with another friend we're going downtown. Every year there's a 5 stage band concert that goes on for 4 days! All together, about 90 live acts perform! If you click here you can see some pictures from 2006.
Well, I better get ready!
Dorrie
Aw, nice pictures! Both grandmas look very proud! Also, thank a million for doing my background again. You are so awesome!!!
ReplyDeletehe pie looks yummy. Better than any I could make. I don't make very good pies. They taste OK, but the appearance leaves a little to be desired, so I know what you're talking about. Enjoy the bands. Sounds like fun. Hugs!!!
keep the photos coming!!!!
ReplyDeletePie looks good too
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful Dorrie. I bet the pie tasted good. I hope the concert was great.
ReplyDeleteThe baby is growing so quickly! I hope you had a great time. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteBeautiful baby. And delicious looking pie.
ReplyDeleteI think your pie looks better than anything I've bought in a store!

ReplyDeleteI've discovered that a pie or pastry can look so great in the store or bakery...but when you get home and taste it, you wonder why you wasted your money on it.
ReplyDeleteHowever, something baked at home and made with ample fruit, sugar and love - tastes so much better now many how it looks.
That said, that pie looks good to me.
thank you all for the comments... yes, I do read them all religiously, even when I don't reply (sorry!)
ReplyDeletenice seeing you again maryjane! and welcome leftcoast and Allison!
