Hurray for Friday!

Dance class went well yesterday. Eight people showed making it possible for us to practice a Russion square dance! And they finally got it right! hah!

I had a meeting yesterday with my boss and a co-worker, a pre briefing for a meeting today. He kept asking why the file hadn't been worked on since last spring... I kept my mouth shut, but the reason was that this co-worker (the newer jerk) let it lie around untouched. Now the "customer" is coming today to ask the same question. I have to check some numbers and then maybe we can get it wrapped up. I haven't seen the file since I turned it over to the co-worker. Me to the rescue again? maybe.... *sigh* I have so much to do at the moment, my head spins....

And the class this coming Sunday has 47 sign-ups!! uff I just hope the room it's in is large enough. I'll probably spend tomorrow, at home, working on my power point stuff!

I guess I'll be trying to avoid the word "duty" in the future.... you guys seem to "interpret" it wrong! LOL

And sorry for not adding any/many smilies... when I write an entry in the morning, like now, I'm rushing things..... picture me sitting here, still in my (non-sexy) nighty, typing away while the clock ticks away.

  1. I hope you have a good weekend. Dance class sounds like fun. I like learning about other cultures and their art. I am sure that you will do well on your presentations. Maybe the jerk will get into trouble for not doing the work on the file. Take care and have a good Friday, and try keeping that jerk off of your mind. God has a way of working these things out. (((hugs)))

  7. Heheee, I'm still in my P.J.'s. It's raining and cloudy (for now) and I don't feel like going anywhere but Cyberville!

Yay for the dancers learning the Russian Square dance! Should look cool! Would love to see a video of it here!

Wow, you sure do have alot on your plate. You are a busy gal!

Oh...and re to the background : It's fast and easy!

    Here's how:

Click on that little blue box on top of my blog here.

Go find a layout you like.

    Click on it.

That will give you The Code! Highlight it and right-click to "copy."

Get back to blogger layout tab, and click add a gadget.

Scroll down to the gadget that says add html and hit the blue + button there.

A box will appear, and you "paste" The Code into that box!

    Save it, and that's it!

Takes only 3 or 4 minutes!

    Happy weekend. :)

  8. Sounds like the dance class was great. Good for you. Now why are you always 'covering' for the jerk? Let your boss see his incompetency for himself. People like that just keep slacking off, and let others take their blame. Have a great weekend. Hugs.

  9. well, Xanadu, I'm really not "covering" for him, but I don't want anything to backfire against ME. It's all quite hard to explain. Don't forget, these guys are males and GERMAN, while I'm a female in a "formerly only for males" line of work AND a foreigner to boot!

Judy, I already discovered that, and found some lovely layouts, but it says the widgets go back to "default" meaning all the widget setting up has to be redone! uff but I'll keep experimenting, too *wink*

Luby, I'm sure there are similar classes in your area! You should go check it out. It's a lot of fun and with folk dancing, you don't necessarily need a partner, unlike with square dancing.

FB, hooray for the weekend!! and Lunamor, it's a lot more enjoyable when the group is great... and mine are!

Tim... at the moment, yes! :-(

Now for a quiet Friday evening and hopefully restful Saturday.
